| 16 July - Sara Marson was placed 3rd in the Final of the 50m Breaststroke at the National Shortcourse Championships. She followed her pre-race instructions to the letter, "win the start, nail the turn and hang on as best you can!". This is significant in that it is her first Open National Medal, and also my first as a coach, and our Clubs first Open National Medal.
We have won Country, National Age and State Medals of all colours, but never before an Open National. Yipee congratulations and thank you Sara.
